a word from the owner...

"We have loved living here for the last five years - the entire block of flats was built in 2018, and it really shows in the smart design of both the communal areas and the flat itself, which is modern and airy. We love the natural light we benefit from with the full length windows and the winter-garden style balcony which provides a great outdoor space, all year round. The flat is well-proportioned, with underfloor heating throughout - the absence of radiators is an added bonus and means that each room can be used to its full potential. The flat has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which is an en-suite) and a large, open plan kitchen / living room for entertainment. There is also ample storage space, with a large utility room and an built-in wardrobe, making it easy to keep living spaces de-cluttered. The flat is ideally located and within walking distance from Walthamstow Central Station, Lloyd Park with its vibrant Saturday market and Walthamstow Village with its a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. Epping Forest and Hollow Pond are also within easy reach, offering the opportunity for long walks in nature and an escape from busy London life."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Howard Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
