"This has been a wonderful home to grow our family in. With Churchfields Field and playground nearby, and the green at the top of the road, there’s plenty of space for the kids to play. We’ve loved being within walking distance of so many great cafes, pubs, and restaurants — our favourites include The Sushi Co, Storia Italian, Mezze on the Green, The Travellers Friend, and Mojos for brunch. When we moved in, the house had been beautifully modernised, and we added our own touches — a working fireplace, shaker-style storage, and period features. The landscaped garden with new decking is perfect for hosting, and the stained-glass front door fills the hallway with morning light. With four bedrooms, there’s ample space for a family. We’ve used the loft as a relaxing work-from-home space, but it’s versatile for many needs. We’ve truly loved our time here and hope you’ll enjoy making it your own."

In case you hadn’t already picked up on the clues in the name, Woodford Green is a charming sanctuary of leafy loveliness within a short hop of Central London. Yes, you read that right – duck ponds, cricket greens and quaint pubs… all just 30-ish minutes from Oxford Circus. No wonder savvy families have been making the area home for a while now – the area’s excellent schools are just the icing on the cake.

Thanks to its close proximity to Epping Forest, visitors head to Woodford Green for scenic walks, and then refuel at one of the area’s cosy traditional pubs such as the Travellers Friend or The Cricketers. There’s also a lively food scene, but just low key enough to ensure the neighbourhood has a close-knit, villagey vibe.
