"13 Hoffmans Road has been a brilliant first home. Really quite spacious for a one bed and in a cracking location. It holds heat incredibly well and I only really needed the heating on during those really cold winter weeks. With rising energy prices, this is obviously a real plus point! Being just a stone's throw from Blackhorse Road Station (2/3 minute walk) and The Victoria Line, you really can get to all corners of London in super quick time. I didn't know a huge amount about the area before moving here but there is so much going on. Walks through the wetlands and along the canal to unwind, tennis at Lloyd's park where they also have a fantastic food and drink market at the weekend are some of my favourite things to do. Yonder indoor climbing wall and yoga studio is adjacent to Hoffmans Road and has a brilliant community vibe. Epping Forest is also on our doorstep and is great for long cycle rides and walks. The Big Penny Social (formerly Trumans Brewery) is an awesome spot for a beer or 10. This forms part of The Blackhorse Beer Mile. All in all it's been a wicked 3 years at Hoffmans Road and I won't be moving far as I really have fallen in love with the area but having just got married, it is time to upsize a little. Whoever ends up living here will love it i'm sure!"

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
