IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll feel right at home on your leafy, quiet street, bright and airy living spaces adorned with classic design elements. The main living area showcases a fresh white palette paired with golden oak flooring. You have picturesque views of the communal gardens from your reception space, framed by the large box bay window. The kitchen features natural wood style cabinets, an earthy grey tiled splashback, integrated oven and stove and sleek black worktops that contrast beautifully with the warm wood accents.

Across the hall, your bedroom is bathed in copious natural light from twin windows and decked out in soft neutral tones. Off white walls are complemented by soft grey flooring underfoot. A classic louvered wardrobe adds a touch of sophistication while your bathroom continues the classic theme, featuring white symmetrical tiling and a large tub with shower overhead.

Highams Park is home to plenty of favourites, just under twenty minutes from your front door. Among these are your new local, The Stag and Lantern, a beloved local haunt known for their friendly service and impressive range of beers, and Biba and Wren, a stylish cafe serving up epic breakfasts and artisanal coffee. Weekends can be well spent exploring Highams Park and Epping Forest, beginning with coffee at dog friendly, Humphry's Cafe, named after Highams Park Lake's nineteenth century designer, and perfectly placed for skyline views.

a word from the expert...

"Around the corner from the office are The Stag and Lantern and Vinoramica, perfect spots for all your alcoholic needs. If you fancy a nice coffee pop into Biba & Wren Coffee Shop. My favourite local walk to where I live is through Epping Forest from Highams Park to Chingford Plains, ending at The Butlers Retreat. If you fancy a bike ride The Lea Valley is expansive and offers plenty of different routes in and out of London. The area is the perfect halfway house, offering all the benefits of London but with the green space and community feel of a countryside village! I also love the variety of different architecture on offer throughout E4.” JON VIDAL E4 BRANCH MANAGER

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Higham Station Avenue, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
