a word from the owner...

"We absolutely loved our time at number 4 and we're desperately sad to be moving on. We know it will make someone else as happy as it made us, and its new owners will join an amazing community that is very cool and caring, in a really up and coming part of town. Looking on a map you don't immediately appreciate just how good the flat's location is, but the new owners get incredibly fast (minutes on bus or bike) access to all the many delights of Walthamstow, Clapton and Hackney, from brunch spots, indie cinema and food markets on Chatsworth road, to the many shops and bars - but with the bonus of living in an end-terrance flat with an unusually large garden, and fast access to central London. We'd happily say we didn't realise just how perfect it was until we lived there."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Hibbert Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
