2 Bedroom

1 Bath

Set on the first floor with leafy views, this bright and spacious two-bedroom maisonette offers mid-century charm and modern convenience in equal measure. Highlights include the large private garden, sole-use entrance and garage, not to mention the smart decor.

As well as being just a short distance from Epping Forest, it enjoys easy access to Chingford station, where frequent trains run to London Liverpool Street in under 30 minutes. There are some fantastic amenities in the local area, but with 762 square feet of space to spread out in at home, staying in will always be just as fun.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

With 762 square feet of internal space, this is a home you can really bring your own personality to and enjoy spreading out in. Due to its smart finish and generous proportions, the reception room has a bright and brilliant feel. You’ll really appreciate touches such as the column radiator, which you’ll find throughout the home. There’s plenty of room for working or socialising, and the separate dine-in kitchen will be extra convenient, especially with its modern appliances. The bedrooms are both smart and bright, while the bathroom is sleek and modern with a walk-in shower.

Outside, not only do you have a private garage, you also have a large private garden, with a spacious lawn and plenty of leafy foliage.

The home is a similar distance to both Chingford station and Highams Park station - approx 1.3 miles to each. Whichever route you take, you’ll find cracking amenities (you’ve got double choice really since Chingford and Highams Park both have a strong independent cafe scene as well as plenty of convince stores). Meanwhile, down in Chingford Mount you’re sure to enjoy Japanese Super Sushi, a local hidden gem.

The neighbourhood is home to a huge amount of greenery; Ridgeaway Park (home to the Chingford & District Model Engineering Club no less) is a few minutes away, while Highams Park and Epping Forest are both easily reachable too.

WHAT ELSE?

- Parents will be pleased to know you have an abundance of great schools in the area.
- You’re only a 13 minute walk from Chingford Leisure Centre, where you’ll find a newly refurbished gym and a 25m, 6-lane swimming pool, as well as a smaller shallow teaching pool for children.
- Your new local is the the Larkshall. This grand pub partially dates back to the 16th Century, making it one of the oldest in the area. While the interiors are striking, it’ll be the large gardens that beckons in summer. It’s just 14 minutes on foot.

Our Local Guide:
Chingford

Heathfield, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
