IF YOU LIVED HERE

Your welcoming hallway holds a double helping of built in storage to the right. To your left as you walk in you'll find your bright shower room, with large dedicated shower. A concealed cistern WC and vanity sink sit under white tiling. Then you'll come to your seventy square foot bedroom, with soft oatmeal carpet underfoot. Your kitchen and reception space sits at the end of the hall, with 160 square foot of space. Glossy white units set off by shiny silver worktops hug one side while the opposite wall is half filled with double glazed windows spilling light across the white walls. Engineered flooring lies underfoot as throughout the hall.

From the artisanal offerings at Wood St bakery, to the craft beer at Clapton Craft, you are sure to find something to suit your taste. The charming indoor market has a multitude of stalls selling vintage, vinyl and brick a brac, or head to Gigi’s Dressing Room for a fabulous selection of vintage to buy or rent. Your local restaurant is local favourite La Cafeteria, serving hearty Italian food.

WHAT ELSE?
- For a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle, Epping Forest is a very short walk from your door. Bringing a sense of rural peace, there are acres of woodland here to explore on foot on two wheels.
- As well as all the entertainment at your fingertips on Wood St, you’re also super close to Hoe St, the main ‘high street’ in the ‘Stow. We recommend checking out one of the events at Trades Hall - from a Rock and Roll Book Club to Northern Soul dances there’s something for everyone and a wonderful sense of community.
- It's twelve minutes on foot to Wood Street station, where regular Overground trains will see you to Liverpool Street in twenty minutes. If you're driving you could be on the North Circular in as little as five minutes, and if you drive electric you're just round the corner from a charging station. For alternative transport options, Walthamstow Central is a mile on foot, or hop on one of the many buses that stop at the end of the street and you’ll be there in no time.

a word from the owner...

"There are plenty of great restaurants, cafes and shops right on the doorstep - Wood Street Bakery and La Chocolatine are two of my favourite nearby spots for a coffee and pastry. The area has always felt safe and friendly, and it feels like there’s constantly a new local shop or cafe popping up to explore. I’ve particularly loved being so close to the outside spaces of Epping Forest and Walthamstow Wetlands. It’s been a wonderful first home, with excellent transport links and I hope someone is able to enjoy it as much as I have!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Hawker Place, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
