a word from the owners...

“We’ve loved absolutely every minute in this flat. The location is perfect, with St James park situated just at the end of the road and host of independent local amenities nearby, as well as having the Weaver Line (Overground) line within a 5 minute walk. 56 St James is just around the corner and has been well frequented for a couple of cocktails at the weekend, whilst True Craft and the businesses within Crate have provided us with an host of excellent local eats. Slightly further afield, Walthamstow Village is just a 20 minute stroll away, whilst the Walthamstow Wetlands have often provided an ideal setting for a weekend stroll. The neighbours are all super friendly and the sense of community in the area is particularly prominent. It’s proven to be the perfect home during our 4 years here, and we just hope that the next owners love it just as much as we have!”

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Hartington Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
