This spacious ground floor one bedroom apartment is a great find. It’s unusually spacious and comes with an off street parking space and its own private garden. Located in the heart of Chingford Mount, there are plenty of local shops and services just moments away and good public transport connections.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You’d have a huge amount of lateral space both inside and out, from the block paved front drive and large rear garden to over 620 square feet of internal living space. The property also has great kerb appeal, with your own front door set in a handsome brick façade.

Once inside, a long hallway with two built-in storage cupboards (one housing a washing machine) leads directly to the huge main living space. This comprises a large L-shaped living room and a well-equipped kitchen with fitted cabinets and freestanding appliances.

The living room is a stunning room with space for dining and lounge areas, and full height glazed sliding doors that provide excellent natural light and open into the sunny south-facing garden. This is mainly paved, making it suitable for year-round use and giving it the feel of an outdoor room. The small central lawn add visual interest, and double gates at the end provide vehicle access from a rear alley.

Back inside, the main bedroom is at the front of the property. This large rectangular room has good natural light and ample space for a large double bed and bedroom furniture. The shower room is conveniently adjacent.
The property is in a good condition throughout, with double glazing, gas central heating and mainly white décor, but there is scope to add value through refurbishment and, potentially, extension.

word from the owner....

"I fell in love with this flat at first sight and it lived up to every expectation. My friends call it 'the tardis' as its huge inside! My favourite part is undoubtedly the large lounge/diner, filled with sunshine and light. I couldn't believe my luck to have found a flat in London with such a lovely sunny south facing garden that was all mine! The kitchen is off of the lounge diner, with a huge window opening, so has views of the lovely garden too. I am really sad to part with it but hope that it's next owner gets as much joy from it as I have!"

Our Local Guide:
Chingford

Hall Lane, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
