"This is a wonderful house which provided us an excellent place to start our family. the Firs Estate is beautiful with gorgeous cherry blossom lined streets and quiet green spaces. The house is very close to local amenities, especially South Woodford high street. We especially love spending Sunday mornings sipping coffee at Gails, visiting the street market and buying fresh produce from local sellers. In addition, the house is very close to Waitrose, M&S and Sainsbury's for groceries, the Odeon for an impromptu movie and the lush green expanse of Epping Forest. The area has a plethora of excellent schools to choose from, coupled with plenty of parks and activities for young children."

Beautiful property, great amenities, green space, a wonderful sense of community and excellent transport links, honestly, what’s not to love about South Woodford?

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds. 

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
