A perfectly formed one bedroom apartment, on the second floor of an attractive purpose built development. A short walk away from Wood Street and Walthamstow Village alike, with every room finished to a high standard, this is a neat home ready for someone new to move straight into. An ideal first home.

You’re perfectly balanced between the bustling neighbourhood of Wood Street and the idyllic environs of Walthamstow Village, so you’ll never want for any of the basics or for something new to explore. You’re very handy for public transport with Wood Street station less than a quarter mile from your door, and drivers will rejoice in the communal parking.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You’ll come into your hallway and find your bathroom straight ahead. It’s fully tiled in marbled white, with a concealed cistern toilet, and a large walk-in rainfall shower. Next is your 120 square foot reception room, with recessed lighting, elegant parquet style flooring underfoot and plenty of windows to let in the light. It’s a restful space ready for relaxing as you like.

An alcove doorway leads into your super smart forty five square foot kitchen. Shiny white modern units are set off by charcoal marbled worktops, and there’s an integrated induction hob. Your sink sits under the window with a view of greenery to enjoy. Next to that through another alcove doorway you’ll find your bedroom, sixty five square foot with dove grey walls and the same parquet style flooring underfoot.

Wood Street station is less than a five minute walk away, taking you to Liverpool Street in under half an hour in a very pleasant journey across the marshes. Alternatively Walthamstow Central is less than a twenty minute walk away, for the Victoria Line to Kings Cross. Wood Street and Walthamstow Village are each filled with places to eat, drink and shop – make sure to check out Orford Road’s award-winning Spar.

WHAT ELSE?

- Your new local can be the Wild Card Brewery taproom, a six minute stroll away and serving the freshest range of craft beers indoors and out.
- While you’re there you’ll want to tour the rest of the Ravenswood estate, with Mother’s Ruin gin palace and neon wonderland (and café bar) God’s Own Junkyard ready to be discovered.
- Need to get back to nature? Ten minutes will see you in a fairytale part of Epping Forest, immersed in woodland past the picturesque church of St-Peter-in-the-Forest.

"for me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable.

Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Greenacre Gardens, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
