A beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment, sat on the fourth floor of a designer development in the heart of Stratford. Floor to ceiling windows frame horizon views, and you have some of East London's finest draws on your doorstep.

Your new home features a concierge, onsite gym and an artfully landscaped roof terrace, perfect for taking in the skyline or getting to know the neighbours.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be enjoying tremendous views throughout your new home, but nowhere more than your vast, 275 square foot dual aspect kitchen/lounge. In here you have dramatic rooftop views over the London skyline from all sides, plus your sheltered corner balcony for still wider vistas. Inside, handsome blonde engineered hardwood runs underfoot, and glossy cream cabinetry lines the kitchen area, with metro tile splashback and integrated appliances.

Elsewhere, both bedrooms are significant doubles, each with Crittal-style doors leading out to modest Juliet balconies, perfect for taking the air at four storeys up. Your principal sleeper is especially generous at more than 160 square feet, and features a striking statement wall as well as a softly lit, sparkling en suite shower room. Your family bathroom off the hallway is just as chic, tiled in tranquil tones.

Outside and the many and varied transport links of Stratford are at your fingertips. Just a five minute walk for the underground, overground, Queen Elizabeth line and DLR. The vast shopping colossus of Westfield is likewise right on your doorstep, you can be strolling the broad promenades less than ten minutes after stepping out of your lobby. Even the vast greenery and epic landmarks of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are in easy reach. Barely half a mile on foot and a wonderful back garden.

WHAT ELSE?

- Date night? Be sure to check out East Village, the former Athletes' Village now reimagined as 'London's Coolest Postcode' and bursting with an ever evolving range of independent bars, restaurants and pop-ups.
- You have a substantial amount of fitted storage in the hallway, a welcome addition to any London apartment.
- Cyclists have access to a growing network of dedicated cyclepaths. You can pedal all the way down the CS2 cycleway from right outside your new building all the way into Whitechapel, in just twenty two minutes.

a word from the owner...

"I have lived in Stratford since 2009 and seen it transform before my eyes. It's always been packed full of character, which you can see in the local markets and cafés. It's also incredibly well connected with so many tube lines. With the Elizabeth Line up and running, I can pop into Central (with aircon!) in just minutes. That said, I really don't need to leave unless I want to: with Westfield for retail therapy; the canals for some peace and quiet; a local PictureHouse cinema; and nearby Hackney Wick for a night out – it's been wonderful to have so many options on my doorstep. You can even watch the New Year's Eve firework display for free from the two roof terraces."

Our Local Guide:
Stratford

Great Eastern Road, Stratford — Stow Brothers

Given it’s been almost a decade since the Olympic torch touched down in Stratford, it’s probably time to let this part of East London shine on its own. It truly is a destination in its own right, with a multitude of restaurants, bars and pubs cropping up in the area, and that’s before we’ve even mentioned one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. Yep, Westfield might draw most visitors to the area, but Stratford’s Market Village is a hidden gem and where you’ll get a true flavour of the community.

Of course, we do have to acknowledge the legacy of the London 2012 Games and the regeneration it brought to the area, including the soon to be opened East Bank. With the former Olympic venues open to the public, residents have an incredibly advanced sport and fitness facilities, while the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the world’s longest helter skelter, is quite literally Stratford’s standout feature.

Transport links

Stratford’s quite the hub. With the launch of the Crossrail, it is now on the Elizabeth line, while high-speed trains already travel between Stratford International and Ashford. The Overground runs to North London, while the Jubilee line and DLR go to Canary Wharf. Finally, London Underground’s Central line nips to the West End.

Vibrant shopping district

What can’t you get in Stratford? It really is a shopper’s delight, with everything from the luxury boutiques, high street retailers and department stores at Westfield Stratford, to the essential shops and market stalls within the Stratford Centre, and the independent stores of the East Village.

Recent regeneration/Post-Olympics

A key aim for the successful London 2012 Games bid was the wider regeneration of the area, which has resulted in one of the world’s largest cultural districts, East Bank. Universities UCL and UAL’s London College of Fashion will join the BBC, Sadler’s Wells and the V&A, opening 2022-2023.
