"We bought this house as a young couple and have had both our children here. The garden has provided endless summer days of fun from gardening to playing in the paddling pool. My favourite house feature is the kitchen island where we can prepare and cook food together and the kitchen diner where we can entertain guests after bedtime! We have a lovely little park with a playground just up the road - 2 minutes away. In the other direction there is Roding Valley which offers a bit of time out from the city and a chance to see some nature. The neighbours are lovely and we will be sad to leave them. Particular favourite haunts for us are Dada cafe, Salway Cookhouse, Tipi and Bread and Oregano, and the Deli in Woodford! Practically you can walk to Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, M&S, Boots, Pizza Express and Nando's!"

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds. 

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
