"We are leaving London to return to Ireland and the hardest part is leaving our home. We have loved it here, our oldest goes to Churchfields Infant School and loves it and our little one goes to a fantastic nursery a couple minutes walk away. We have made friends with our neighbours and really feel like part of a fantastic community. We spend Spring and summer Saturdays on treks in the Roding valley park which is always a real adventure for our kids. Epping forest and the gorgeous Highams Park are great days out. South Woodford village has everything we need, including very good coffee shops!"

Beautiful property, great amenities, green space, a wonderful sense of community and excellent transport links, honestly, what’s not to love about South Woodford?

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds. 

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
