A grand, handsome and spectacularly spacious four bedroom, 1930s semi detached family home in our leafy sweetspot of Chingford. Surrounded by green space and sat on a quiet residential turning, everything's as peaceful as it is connected.

As well as a substantial driveway you have a large private garage, offering plenty of options for parking or extra space if needed. Drivers can be on the arterial North Circular in less than ten minutes.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll have more than 1500 square feet of bright, characterful, impeccably appointed space to stretch out in. Your front lounge is first to greet you, with pastel pink walls and soft grey carpet. It's a fine hosting space and a superb welcome, but step into your vast, open plan kitchen, diner and conservatory and jaws will well and truly drop.

Totaling over 400 square feet, in here you have an artfully segmented kitchen area, decked out with chrome fittings, a glazed backsplash, matching worktops and pendulum lighting suspended above your delectable breakfast bar. The dining area wraps around the kitchen, with glossy blonde hardwood underfoot, pale cream walls reflect the floods of natural light streaming in from the conservatory.

Laid entirely open to the dining room, your conservatory offers panoramic views of your impressive garden, letting you enjoy this superb outside space all year round. Pushing forty five feet in length, out here you have a large expanse of lawn, surrounded by timber fencing and mature, screening greenery. There's even a fun and handy elevated summer house.

A bright and indispensable utility room completes the ground floor, while upstairs your principal bedroom sits to the front, featuring that beautiful bay window for plenty of natural light. An elegantly appointed double with gleaming en suite, this is a covetable spot indeed. Your three remaining double bedrooms are arranged along the rear, all with leafy garden views, while finally your family bathroom's a designer dream in sandstone and sky blue, with tub and walk in rainfall shower cubicle.

WHAT ELSE?

- Outside, Chingford station is a twenty minute walk or six by bike, for direct twenty nine minute runs to Liverpool Street. Alternatively Walthamstow Central is just nine minutes and two stops away for a quick swap to the Victoria line.
- Your loft space is so far unexplored, so you still have plenty of scope to add your own whole new storey as your neighbours have done (subject to the usual permissions). This is a home that will serve the needs of you and yours for years to come.
- Local schools are largely excellent. You have eight 'Outstanding' or 'Good' primary/secondary schools less than a mile away on foot.

a word from the owners.........

"The Crescent is a really lovely spot in Chingford that so many people are unaware of as it is hidden away. It is minutes from Ridgeway Park, and a pleasant walk to Station Road and the station. The sylvan nature of the Crescent is really lovely as you notice the changing seasons due to the large amount of street trees and hedging."

Our Local Guide:
Chingford

Goldsborough Crescent, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
