Impeccably presented, super stylish two bedroom period conversion arranged over three floors. No detail has been left overlooked in this chic apartment, with designer flourishes throughout. IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Cleverly designed and unfolding over three floors, you have a wealth of versatile living space to call your own. You find the first of your two double bedrooms sitting on the first floor of this imposing building, a brilliantly bright and inviting space that could double as a home office or guest room. Moving up to the second floor and to the magnificent open plan reception and kitchen, measuring in at over 200 square feet, this room is exceptionally bright thanks to the trio of windows and the clever architectural touches that work to maximise this sense of space. Sumptuous wooden flooring lays underfoot, and decor is kept neutral and bright to let the space sing. Your kitchen is cleverly arranged in an L shape and nestled in the corner of this room, ply faced units with smart integrated appliances and raised sockets create a pleasing, utilitarian feel. Spotlights recessed into the ceiling enhance the airy feel, and with plenty of room for both a dining table and sofa you will never be short on space.
The stairs that lead up to your second bedroom ascend from this room, and your snuggly bedroom is tucked away up on the third floor. More of that contemporary design is seen up here, and especially in the tasteful en-suite, which features a large walk in shower. This is in addition to the large family bathroom that sits on the floor below.

Hackney is known as London’s greenest Borough and you are absolutely surrounded here, with the luscious greenery of Hackney Downs to the West, Hackney Marshes to the East and Victoria Park to the South. You also have Daubeney Fields skatepark a short walk away and Millfields Park a little over five minutes away, at the top of Chatsworth Road. This popular street is bursting at the seams with independent shops and revered eateries and bars. Head to Leo’s for delicious Italian Food, Finks for freshly brewed coffee and don’t forget to check out the Sunday market. You also have Lower Clapton Road a stone's throw away, so remember to check out My Neighbours The Dumplings and legendary 107 (formerly P.Franco) wine bar.

WHAT ELSE?

- For transport options, you are a short walk from Homerton station and a fifteen-minute walk to Hackney Central and Hackney Downs stations, offering overground lines to Stratford, Highbury & Islington and Liverpool Street. There are also a multitude of buses passing through Lower Clapton Road, as well as designed cycle paths.
- You have several very good state primary schools nearby and the independent Gatehouse School just south at Victoria Park and the much-lauded Mossbourne Community Academy secondary school is within walking distance.
- Your new local is sure to be The Elderfield, an unpretentious local pub serving great food with a fab beer garden. You also have local institution Biddle Bros close by, a small pub with live music.

a word from the owner...

"Glenarm Road is a fantastic place to live. The marshes are within 25 minutes walk, and Milfields and Hackney Downs are both minutes away. Chatsworth road has loads of great cafes and places to eat, and on a Sunday there is a very delicious food market, only a couple of minutes walk from here. There are also some great bars near by and restaurants including the ever popular My Neighbours the Dumplings. Local pubs The Elderfield and Biddle Brothers are both brilliant. And if you're into that kind of thing, Kings Hall gym and leisure centre is just a couple of minutes away. The flat is a beautiful and quiet, the light is always wonderful, even in Winter, and the view from the top bedroom brings lots of peace and calm. It feels very peaceful here despite being near so many interesting bars, restaurants, shops and cultural spots, and in easy reach of Hackney Downs station or Hackney Central. The street is also very friendly and it's easy to get involved in things like the community garden on the road, or the annual street party."

Our Local Guide:
Hackney

Glenarm Road, Hackney — Stow Brothers

Where do you start with Hackney? It can feel like it’s all been said before, but, of course, it can’t have been because the area is constantly evolving, which is what keeps it so fresh. It’s just what happens when a neighbourhood has such a high population of creative innovators.

Even fans of Hackney’s scruffier edges love the imaginative ways that the area has been regenerated, with thoughtfully-designed stores, bars and coffee shops sitting comfortably alongside sleek architecture and beloved institutions such as Ridley Road Market.

Despite all this urban buzz, the area has a surprisingly large amount of green space, including Hackney Wick, Victoria Park and London Fields, which fill up with a mix of visitors and locals at weekends. Whether they go on to have food at a Michelin-starred restaurant, a pint in The Talbot or a swim in the lido, they’re all united in their love of this most unique community.
