3 Bedroom

1 Bath

A perfectly placed three bedroom end terrace, smartly finished and sat on a quiet turning within the easiest reach of Walthamstow Central, the High Street and The Village. Smart and bright throughout, you also have a large rear garden.

With your loft space so far unexplored, you have scope to follow your neighbours' lead and add your own whole new storey (subject to the usual permissions) making this a perfectly placed home that can grow with the needs of you and yours.

IF YOU LIVED HERE

Bright, open-plan living is the order of the day here, with your front door leading directly into your dual aspect, 330 square foot through lounge. Artfully restored original timber floorboards run underfoot, your open plan staircase accentuates the sense of space still further, and a pristine white paintjob makes the most of all that natural light.

To the rear your kitchen's just as sleek and pristine. Seamless white cabinetry, blonde hardwood floors, white metro tile splashbacks and timber style worktops. Outside your garden's a neatly arranged mix of patio, lawn and beds. More vintage timber floorboards run underfoot upstairs, where your three sleepers range from fifty to 150 square feet and your family bathroom completes things in style.

Outside and, as noted, you have so much that makes Walthamstow so special right on your doorstep. Walthamstow Central station is just a third of a mile on foot for direct twenty minute connections to Liverpool Street and Oxford Circus, putting both the City and West End less than a half hour away door to door. If you're staying local then our beloved Walthamstow Village is just a half mile on foot, home to an enviable, renowned range of independent wining and dining establishments.

WHAT ELSE?

- With the Village on your doorstep you're spoilt for choice when it comes to a new local, but you can't go wrong at The Queen's Arms, with a classic gastropub atmosphere, delicious menu and superb wine list.
- Europe's longest street market is just moments from your front door, great for street food and pretty much everything else besides. If you can't buy it here you probably don't really need it.
- Parents will be pleased to find three 'Outstanding' primary schools and one 'Outstanding' secondary, all less than a mile away on foot.

a word from the owner...

"We have loved bringing our children up in this neighbourhood, and have taken full advantage of everything on our doorstep. Some of our favourite day trips are to take the overground from Queen’s Road to Gospel Oak to explore Hampstead Heath, or the overground from Walthamstow Central to Chingford to stomp around in Epping Forest. In the summer we ride our bikes down to the Wetlands or the marshes. And we hop on the Victoria Line whenever we fancy for a day out in central London."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Glen Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
