You will love the large, sun drenched south westerly facing garden and multi aspect conservatory, as well as the thoughtful design and decor throughout.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You will love coming home to this handsome double bay fronted 1930’s property, the impeccable style within meaning that you’re able to shut the door and feel immediately at home. You have two separate reception rooms on the ground floor in addition to the sun room, offering ample relaxing and social space. The room to the front is beautifully bright thanks to the bay window, with glorious engineered wooden flooring sweeping through these rooms and the hallway, creating a pleasing synchronicity. The rear reception room, which is spacious enough for a large dining table, opens into the sun drenched conservatory. You will love sitting out here and taking in the view of your garden, which totals an impressive 41 square feet. Out here you have a patio area, perfect for bbqs, and a beautiful mature lawn with a handy garden shed. The conservatory spans the full width of the property, opening into the smart and well appointed kitchen. Metro green splashback tiles perfectly compliment the bright walls in here, the wooden countertops adding a rustic feel.
Upstairs you have two spacious double bedrooms and a third study bedroom. The double rooms are styled to perfection with painted floorboards, you will love the sense of light in the front bedroom thanks to the large bay window. The bedroom to the rear has some handy built-in cupboards, spanning a full wall, we think this is an invaluable storage solution. The study bedroom is a great size for a home office, or nursery for younger children. Finally, the bathroom is a stylish affair with a chic and sparking suite, waterfall shower over tub and on-trend metro tiling.

word from the owner...

"I've felt really lucky to live here for the past 10 years, I've particularly enjoyed how quiet the house is at night and how friendly the neighbours are. North Chingford has been a great place to live with Epping Forest on our doorstep for long walks whilst only being 30 minutes out of the City for work has been a great combination for us. I like the mix of independent shops and restaurants on the High Street, the butchers is a family business which has been there for 25 years and the fish & chips from Wilsons at the end of our Road are great. I'd recommend Helen's coffee on the Green for a friendly smile and a cup of "Perky Blenders" a local Waltham Forest roast. We hope you'll be as happy here as we've been."

Our Local Guide:
Chingford

Garfield Road, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
