a word from the owner...

"We have loved living here for the past six years. We are moments away from Wanstead tube station, and the High Street, which has an abundance of cafes, shops and parks. We are saying goodbye to accommodate our growing family, but will be staying local as we continue to love the area"

Our Local Guide:
Wanstead

Gardner Close, Wanstead — Stow Brothers

Thanks to its royal connections and grand properties, Wanstead has previously been compared to the likes of Twickenham and Richmond, although East Londoners are quick to point out that it has plenty enough merits of its own.

For a start, despite its villagey feel, it’s proudly nestled within London’s most creative quadrant and only a short hop on the Central line from the bright lights of the City. There’s also an abundance of green space – Wanstead Flats, Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Chalet Wood, with the seasonal display of bluebells in the latter just calling out for an accompanying picnic from one of the well-stocked local delis or cafes. But that’s not to say that Wanstead’s charming pubs and restaurants aren’t delightful to look at themselves – it’ll be deciding which to go for that’s the problem.
