A bright and spacious two bedroom apartment set inside a striking art deco building. You have high ceilings and plenty of light inside, and outside lovely, well tended communal gardens. Located on the popular Forest Rise, Epping Forest is on your doorstep and you are a short walk from Wood Street Overground station for frequent trains into London Liverpool Street, or one stop from Walthamstow Central to pick up the Victoria Line.

With the forest on your doorstep, your location here is really something to shout about. You have acres of glorious green space to explore and the road network in this area has cycle lanes, making it safe and convenient to explore on two wheels. Wood Street is in easy reach for all of your amenities. A thriving high street with a number of independent cafes and shops, you also have convenience stores and a post office. Head to Rebel Coffee for your morning caffeine fix, or stop by The Old Station Yard Cafe for a traditional fry up and a warm welcome.

Back inside your new apartment, you have lots of architectural touches including a bay fronted reception room and bedroom. This helps create an enviable sense of space throughout this apartment. The decor could do with a little refresh, but you have the foundations of a glorious home here. Of particular note is the well appointed kitchen, spacious enough for a dining table. You have a range of wall and base units in a neutral tone, complimenting the wooden flooring and part panelled walls. The large bay fronted bedroom has some built in cupboards that you could retain, or remove to create even more space. The living room is another large space, enjoying wonderful views out onto the communal lawns, there is a pleasant sense of calm throughout.

-Head for a Sunday stroll along Snaresbrook Rd, taking in Eagle Pond en route and stop off for a roast in the Toby Carvery. This stalwart of the local community seems to have been unaffected by the surge in gastro pubs offering roast dinners; it is an all you can eat carvery style restaurant that attracts queues of punters every Sunday. With an excellent range of veggie and vegan dishes as well as the usual meat it has something for everyone.
-You are close to Lea Bridge Rd here, and in easy reach of the North Circular giving you a headstart if you are planning on any trips by car or bus.
- Your location is enviably positioned between Walthamstow, Snaresbrook and within easy reach of Leytonstone, meaning you will never tire of discovering new and exciting things to do nearby.

Our Local Guide:

Forest Rise, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
