"We've been in this flat for 7 years and will be very sad to leave the area - but family elsewhere is calling. The flat itself is nice and spacious throughout, especially with the addition of a loft conversion which we did 5 years ago. The master bedroom is spacious with stunning built-in wardrobes, and the top floor en-suite is very handy. Being on the first floor with velux and bay windows, the flat has always felt quiet, bright and airy. We've transformed the west facing garden to be a great place for BBQs and entertaining with a nice sandstone patio with grass. Fleeming Road is an amazing location being around 15mins walk from the main tube station, yet a quiet tree lined street. We love visiting Lloyd Park which is right on the doorstep, with the weekend markets and many picnic days out. It's so close to some great pubs, breweries, cafes and restaurants, which are all within walking distance. There is so much to enjoy about living in Walthamstow, and we have loved our time in this flat."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
