"We've absolutely loved living on Essex Road for the last 2 years, and we're SO sorry to be leaving. This little pocket of Walthamstow has such a welcoming community feel and awesome local amenities. Weirdough is just round the corner serving amazing pastries and sourdough (Big shout out to them for their proper Italian coffee!) and The Coppermill is a proper locals pub. You'll only be a stones throw from the Wetlands and you'll have fast links to the city on both the Victoria Line and the Overground. The best part about our little patch of peace is it's proximity to the park (Pip the dog definitely thinks so!). It's so great having this huge open space right on your door step, and the vibe in the summer is really chilled. We hope who ever takes on Essex Road has as much fun in it as we did!"

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
