A perfectly palatial and effortlessly stylish four bedroom 1930s semi detached, sat in the sought-after, leafy environs of Chingford, with our great green wilderness of Epping Forest and the links of Chingford station both close at hand.

Arranged over three floors and finished in impeccable style throughout, this substantial property also features a large driveway to the front and wonderfully lengthy and landscaped rear garden.

You'll be luxuriating among strikingly spotless Design & Decor throughout every one of these impressive suites of rooms. Coming in at well over 1600 square feet behind that impeccable vintage frontage, inside everything's all clean lines, tranquil pastels and classic styles. Step though your mint green front door to be greeted by blonde karndean tiles flooring, flowing on into your vast ground floor.

It all starts on your left with your bright and spacious front reception. Soft dove grey carpet and pristine white walls are all awash with natural light from that huge bow window, dressed in plantation shutters. An ebony vintage hearth takes centre stage while a twin set of glazed internal doors allow you to open up the entire ground floor from front to back. Through here and you're into your hugely accommodating kitchen/diner. Twenty five foot deep, almost as wide and immaculately dressed, this is the heart of your new home.

That classic karndean tiles flooring flows on underfoot in here, reflecting swathes of natural light from your twin oversized skylights as well as the rear wall of bi folding patio doors. Spotless white cabinetry runs down one wall, with matching marbled countertops, a stainless steel double width chef's oven and metro tiled splashback. Across the way sits a complementary set of floor to ceiling eggshell blue cabinets, home to integrated appliances and on trend open shelving. A chef's island and breakfast bar floats between.

Throw back those bi-folding doors and you can open everything up to your lengthy rear garden. Out here a large, BBQ perfect patio descends to a seventy foot length of lovingly landscaped lawn, flanked by railway sleeper beds, timber fencing and mature trees, before ending in a raised deck and a handy shed. A superb solace. Back inside and your ground floor's completed by an indispensable utility room and a spare WC, while upstairs you have a pair of substantial double bedrooms, with the master an especially enviable 180 square feet, with bow window and floor to ceiling storage.

Next door bedroom two's a similarly styled 130 square feet with pleasant garden view, while bedroom three is just as sleek and ideal for a child, dressing room or home office. This storey finishes with the family bathroom, featuring large format, smoky floor tiling, a tub and separate, dedicated rainfall shower so you can always choose between a splash and a soak. Finally, head up into the expertly realised loft conversion for your penthouse master of over 200 square feet, complete with twin skylights to the front and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. There's also a bright and pristine en suite.

Step out your front door and Chingford overground station is less than a half mile on foot for direct, twenty seven minute runs to Liverpool Street. Alternatively, Walthamstow Central is just three stops and nine minutes away for a quick hop to the Victoria line. If you're staying local then Epping Forest is right on your doorstep; five minutes on foot, endlessly explorable and perfect for morning jogs and evening strolls alike.

- The 'Outstanding' St Mary's Catholic Primary School is less than a quarter mile away on foot, and you have three more schools rated 'Good' within a single mile's radius.
- Your substantial driveway has space for two cars and drivers can be on the North Circular in less than ten minutes.
- Venture into Epping Forest to discover The Connaught Club, a private members sports club focussed on tennis, squash, bowls and general fitness for all ages and levels. All just a leafy, ten minute stroll away.

a word from the owners.......

"We have had a really happy almost 6 years on Essex Road, it is a very friendly road and we have great neighbours who really look out for one another. Since moving here with our first child, our family has grown and we now have 3 children so we find ourselves needing to move closer to the children's school. We have really transformed the house adding a kitchen extension and loft conversion and modernising throughout. It is a very happy warm home which holds a lot of good memories for us. The area is great as you are less than a 10 minute walk to the station and shops on Station Road and equidistant is the beautiful Chingford Plains and Chingford Golf Course which are beautiful. You can almost forget that you live in London its so peaceful."

Our Local Guide:

Essex Road, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
