5 Bedroom

3 Bath

A magnificent five bedroom, three bathroom semi detached home in the heart of Chingford. With over 2100 square feet of elegant living space, plus landscaped garden with garden room, it's a truly impressive home ready for a new family.

Among the many attractions is the unusually large garden room. Cross the wide decking area that sits under a pergola, open the French doors and find yourself in a vast secluded space with wood beams and skylights overhead. It's ideal for entertaining, or as your own yoga studio. With a lovingly built two level playhouse attached, it could also be the perfect play room for the kids.

Your grand hallway, with parquet flooring underfoot and beautiful open staircase, gives you your first taste of the generous proportions of your new home. To the left you'll find your first reception of 220 square foot, with impressive stone fireplace and elegant cornice work. Next you'll find a large utility, with separate WC shower room. The hallway then opens into your second reception, this one giving you 200 square foot of space. Bespoke glass fronted cupboards sit in the alcoves.

The room gives on to your light-bathed 270 square foot kitchen diner, with traditional white wood fronted units and gas hob in a central chef's island and two seat breakfast bar. There's storage space and a handy larder to one corner. Step out from here into your glorious garden, with bespoke corner seating and neat lawn surrounded by carefully chosen trees and shrubs. To the rear is that huge garden room of 365 square foot, with an additional 110 square foot of storage to the right.

Back inside and upstairs you'll find your first two bedrooms to the rear, of 140 and 115 square foot respectively. To the front is a sixty five square foot bedroom, perfect as a study space. Next to that with its own shuttered box bay window is your generous principal sleeper, with 220 square foot of space and soft carpet underfoot. Your bathroom across the landing is fully tiled, with modern white suite including jacuzzi bath. On the second floor is your skylit loft bedroom of 270 square foot, with separate dressing area plus en suite bathroom with double length shower cubicle and classic chessboard tiling underfoot.

It's twenty minutes on foot to Chingford Station, where the Overground will get you to Walthamstow Central in ten minutes or Liverpool Street in under thirty. You're only seven minutes in the car from the North Circular too. As for green spaces, you're just five minutes from Ridgeway Park and half a mile from Pimp Hall Park, and the wondrous Epping Forest is less than twenty minutes' walk from you.

a word from the owner...

"We enjoyed living in our house for over 5 years. House is a true gem. It is large house with well proportionate rooms. There is a huge entertaining space allowing for easily to have 30-40 guests around. House is designed as family home with lots of areas for kids to play or hang out with friends. There is also a lot to explore in the garden ( 2 x apple, pear, 2 x cherry, walnut trees; many berry bushes)"

Our Local Guide:

Endlebury Road, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
