2 Bedroom

1 Bath

A wonderfully bright, beautifully immaculate two bedroom apartment, on the ground floor of a smart, brick fronted Victorian end of terrace. You have a strikingly generous, expertly landscaped garden to the rear and you're located right in the heart of things, just a few steps from the High Street.

Sat on the end of terrace as you are, you have all the benefits of being effectively semi-detached, including side access.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be enjoying a smartly appointed suite of rooms right in the beating heart of Walthamstow. Your spacious kitchen/diner is particularly impressive, with flawless, boxfresh units and countertops, matching metro tile splashbacks, chrome fittings and integrated appliances.

Your front lounge is equally impressive, with a half frosted bay window, blonde engineered hardwood underfoot and more impeccable designer flourishes. Both bedrooms are substantial doubles of well over 100 square feet, each with a fine view of your impeccably landscaped rear garden. Finally your bathroom is truly flawless in floor to ceiling metro tiling.

Outside you're just a few steps from the High Street, and less than ten minutes from Walthamstow Central Station; from here it's just twenty minutes direct to Oxford Circus and Liverpool Street. The High Street's also home to a huge variety of shops, cafes and supermarkets, not to mention Europe's longest street market, recently enlivened by the curated Sunday Social stalls – great for fresh produce.

WHAT ELSE?

- Looking for a new local? One of Walthamstow's best gastropubs is just around the corner. A personal favourite, The Chequers has lots of nooks and crannies, delicious food and a nice big beer garden.
- Your rear garden is truly a thing of beauty; patio gives way to a generous length of lawn flanked by high timber fencing, you've some thriving raised beds and at the end there's even a handy shed.
- Walthamstow Village is well worth the fifteen minute walk, with a huge range of independent gastropubs, bars and restaurants, not to mention more esoteric attractions like the Mother's Ruin gin palace and God's Own Junkyard, an effervescent neon wonderland like nothing you've ever seen.

a word from the expert...

“I have worked in Walthamstow for over 10 years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub. There are four trains stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname ‘awesomestow’ ”. Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Eldon Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
