These properties have an enduring popularity due in part to their large windows, high ceilings, private entrance and long, sociable gardens and you’ve got a great social kitchen diner space and bay fronted lounge. This is a perfect property for first time buyers, and offers a fantastic home to take that first step on the property ladder.

The location here is really something special, overlooking the luscious Lea Valley playing fields and on the fringe of Walthamstow Wetlands. With easy access to St James St station for overground services into London Liverpool St or Blackhorse Rd for Victoria Line into the West End this is a wonderful spot to enjoy all that the Borough has to offer.
to offer.

IF YOU LIVED HERE....

You enter this smart apartment through your private entrance, and step into your bright and airy lounge. You’ve got a lovely fireplace in here, as well as some integrated shelving in the bay next to the fireplace providing some handy storage for you to curate to your liking. You’ve got chic wooden flooring that helps to bounce the light around, and you’ll appreciate the calm and lofty feel in here.

As mentioned you’ve got a great kitchen diner, with direct access out to that lovely shared garden. The garden backs onto Lee Valley Park which makes it feel even more expansive. Your bedroom is a comfortable double and you are sure to appreciate the integrated storage options in here as well. The same wooden flooring that adorns the lounge runs through here adding a sweeping consistency to the living spaces throughout.

a word from the owner.....

"This was an ideal first home for me - it is bright, spacious, and I always appreciated the garden. I really enjoyed being so close to so many lovely outdoor spaces, like the Marshes and the Wetlands, which are great for walking and cycling. Walthamstow High Street (just five minutes up the road) always has something going on - the Sunday market was a particular favourite. The Overground and the Victoria lines are each a ten minute walk away, which means getting into central London is super easy and accessible."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Edward Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
