4 Bedroom

2 Bath

Set on a quiet cult-de-sac in the heart of much-loved Highams Park, this spacious four-bedroom 1930s semi-detached home benefits from as much access to sprawling nature as it does thriving amenities - it’s a real win, win situation.

Although there’s potential to extend further, the property already comes in at an epic 1525 square foot, which takes in three reception rooms and two bathrooms. And let’s not forget outside, where there’s an 60 foot garden with a studio at the rear, plus a private driveway and side access.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

If you’ve been dreaming of a move to Highams Park ever since the Times named it one of the ‘best places to live’, this could be the perfect home for you…

Beyond that timeless 1930s frontage, your large reception area is flooded with light thanks to the large bay windows. The carpeting sets a warm mood, while period features such as the ceiling rose provide charm.

At the rear, you have another bright reception room. Open up the doors during warmer months and spill out onto the patio of the large and beautifully landscaped rear garden. The convenient garden room at the rear could be used as anything from a home gym to office space - the choice is endless.

Back inside, head past your ground WC and upstairs to where you have another three smart bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes and a modern family bathroom. Up in the loft, you have another bedroom, with its own pristine en-suite - and plenty of eaves storage.

As for beyond, as well being moments from Ainslie Wood, Highams Park itself is a short stroll away - home to a tranquil lake and beautiful flower meadows. By the station, in the neighbourhood’s hub, you can soak up a charming village-esque vibe (the quaint railway crossing and clock tower add to this), where there are plenty of cafes and bars to keep you busy.

It’s also only a short hop to Walthamstow for even more top-class amenities, plus the handy interchange to London Underground’s Victoria line from the overground, which run from Highams Park to Liverpool Street.

WHAT ELSE?

- Your new local is the the Larkshall. This grand pub partially dates back to the 16th Century, making it one of the oldest in the area. While the interiors are striking, it’ll be the outside area that beckons in summer.
- Parents will be pleased to know you have an abundance of great schools in the area, one of the reasons it’s such a popular area with families.
- Drivers can be on the North Circular in just a few minutes, and the M25 is within easy reach too. There’s also the convenience of a Tesco Superstore and other chains should you need essentials.

a word from the owner......

"East View has a wonderful community spirit yet feels private too. We have had many street parties and drinks over the years allowing all to get to know each other, which there have been many of over the 31 years we have lived here. Having brought our children up here, East View is a very safe environment for them. all of the current residents are always willing to help and ensure the road is at its best. Our direct neighbours are a lovely couple and the other side is currently vacant. Highams Park has everything you could want, from shops to eateries and more. the Larkshall pub serves great food and is only a short walk with Epping Forest just a few minutes away. We hope that the future owners will have a fantastic life here as we have."

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

East View, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
