- You are half a mile from The Up Garden, a thriving community space opened at the end of 2022. There is a gorgeous mural from graphic Any Mac Manus, as well as bug hotels and spaces for picnicking making this a welcome space for all ages.
- In keeping with the name of this area, you really are at the gate to the Forest - with Wanstead Flats a short distance away, the lowermost point of the expansive Epping Forest, there is plenty of gorgeous green space surrounding you.
