A sumptuously appointed two double bedroom 1920s terrace with lovingly landscaped gardens front and back. You're on a leafy street in Tottenham's Tower Gardens neighbourhood here, with a choice of nearby open blue and green spaces.

Lordship Recreation Ground's just six minutes away on foot. Perfect for strolling around the parkland, watching herons strutting in the pond or entertaining little ones at the playground.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be stepping past your impressive restored brick frontage and immaculate front garden (perhaps picking a ripe tomato and some rosemary to go with dinner en route) and through the front door into your huge 175 square foot lounge/diner. In here, twin windows bounce natural light across fern green walls, herringbone floorboards flow underfoot, and there's a working word burner in the chimney breast. Next door and the timber-toned kitchen's just as inviting.

Step through the onyx door here for your brilliant back garden - with beds bursting with veg it's a haven for the green-fingered. There's plenty of hammock space among mature foliage, and a bamboo screened terracotta patio makes for a fine spot for relaxing and entertaining alike. Head back inside and up on the first floor sit two impeccable double bedrooms with a vintage fireplace apiece. Finally, your gleaming white bathroom is home to both a tub and dedicated walk-in shower. Lastly, with scope to extend skywards into the loft (STPP), this is a fine investment and an abode that can grow with your needs.

Outside and transport's a piece of cake. Four bus routes service The Roundway just around the corner, ideal for routes all over the capital (and a quick swap to the Piccadilly line from Turnpike Lane). Both White Hart Lane and Bruce Grove overground stations are a mile away (or seven minutes on two wheels) and will each get you to Seven Sisters is a few minutes for the easiest of swaps to the speedy Victoria line. Alternatively, stay on to the end of the line to be at Liverpool Street in twenty three minutes, for a speedy City commute.

WHAT ELSE?

- Spicemeisters will love Blue Rock Caribbean restaurant (just opposite the park). Wrap your tastebuds around authentic ackee and saltfish or layered oxtail slathered in sauce.
- Bruce Castle Museum's twelve minutes on foot and free to enter all year round. With interactive learning stops and a playground for children, it's a space lovingly curated by local historian Deborah.
- Parents are especially well-catered for here with twenty four primary/secondary schools in a one mile radius rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted, six of which have 'Outstanding' status.

a word from the owner...

"We have really enjoyed living in the Tower Gardens area for the last 3.5 years. The house is spacious and quiet, with lots of natural light and original features. We've loved spending time in the garden and enjoy home-grown veg throughout the year. The area is surrounded by lots of green spaces that are perfect for walks or running. It has a great community neighbourhood feel to it, yet a stone's throw distance to Hackney or Walthamstow on a bike or a bus. Salisbury Pub has become a favourite followed by incredible Turkish food in one of the many places on Green Lanes and a bit of snooker at the Harringay Snooker Club. The Palm, True Craft, The Westbury, Antwerp Arms, The Beehive, The Bluecoats Pub, The High Cross pub are all worth a visit. Or New Moon Public House for a more 'authentic' feel. Old Captain fish and chips is hard to beat and San Marco is a great family run classic Italian fare. Living in this area we have been spoilt for choice of greenery, food and drink yet feeling close to the city. We will greatly miss living here, having made life long friends with our neighbours and feeling part of a vibrant community while having a quiet space and a beautiful garden to relax in observing blue tits and magpies nesting around the house and bats flying in the summer sky."
