A bright and beautiful four bedroom mid terrace home with a south-west facing rear garden and views out over Jubilee Pond and Wanstead Flats. The social hub of Winchelsea Arches is right around the corner, and transport's a cinch too.

Wanstead Park station, for the Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside line, is nine minutes on foot, and Forest Gate station's fourteen for the Elizabeth Line. If you don't feel like walking then the 58 bus right outside will whisk you to Forest Gate, Wanstead Park or Walthamstow Central stations. Alternatively, the 308 route will ferry you to Westfield Stratford City.

IF YOU LIVED HERE

You'll be stretching out in your dual aspect, twenty three foot deep open plan living space with views over Wanstead Flats to the fore, timber floorboards flowing underfoot, and a striking charcoal grey dining area looking out over the garden. With both an east and west facing aspect, the space is full of natural light all day long. Next door your kitchen's Sacramento green statement wall complements the backsplash to fine effect, while a smart white suite of cabinets house integrated appliances.

Step through the door for your thirty foot south-west facing garden. Out here a timber deck leads to an immaculate lawn flanked by fragrant rosemary and climbing roses. Back inside and the ground floor's completed by a dual aspect bathroom tiled in sandstone with a shower over the tub, and contemporary fixtures and fittings. Upstairs you've four bedrooms, two with views over Jubilee Pond - an exquisite vista to wake up to. Lastly, this abode comes chain free, so you can move in whenever it suits you.

Outside and nature's always a few steps away. You're just across the road from the unique haven of Wanstead Flats and there's an extensive children's play area a stone's throw away, too. Here you can walk north through Epping Forest as far as your legs will carry you, through woodland to wildflowers and meadows, right into the heart of Essex. Make sure you stop at some watering holes en route - we'd recommend The North Star, the Sir Alfred Hitchcock, Humphrey's Cafe and the Queen Elizabeth.

WHAT ELSE?

- Parents will be pleased to know you've no fewer than sixteen primary/secondary schools in a one mile radius, all rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted, and four deemed 'Outstanding'. The Can Club's five minutes away and will be a huge hit with early years.
- Winchelsea Road is your go to social hub with a wide range of independent wining and dining establishments from The Rookwood Village to Pretty Decent Beer to The Wanstead Tap. It starts just a few steps from your front door.
- Fitness goals? E7 Movement's poised to open just six minutes' walk away. Expect toddler yoga and Kung Fu.

Our Local Guide:
Forest Gate

Dames Road, Forest Gate — Stow Brothers

If you’ve already heard Chiwetel Ejiofor or Idris Elba proudly discussing their hometown, you probably don’t need us to convince you of Forest Gate’s merits, but for those who haven’t, let us catch you up…

With a heritage rooted in culture, it’s not surprising that Forest Gate has a strong creative community today. During just one week in the 60s, the Upper Cut Club music venue there hosted – deep breath – The Who, the Animals, the Spencer Davis Group, Geno Washington and Jimi Hendrix. These days you’re more likely to find the area’s artistic-types supping drinks in the cool cafes and bars. Along with the period property and proximity to green space, this independent scene has been the main draw for new arrivals to the area, although the fact that Forest Gate is now on the Crossrail’s Elizabeth line has definitely helped nudge people in the right direction.
