3 Bedroom s

1 Bath

A spacious and characterful three bedroom Victorian terrace, with vintage features and a private, south-west-facing garden. It's all enviably located between Blackhorse Lane, Higham Hill and Lloyd Park, for the best of all worlds.

An eight minute stroll brings you to Forest Road - from here regular buses will whisk you directly to Walthamstow Central and Blackhorse Road stations, for fifteen minute journeys to Kings Cross on the super speedy Victoria line. The Night Tube runs on Friday and Saturday nights, so Soho and Brixton are easy weekend destinations.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be stepping past your stained glass front door and into your 150 square foot lounge - a bright space with a cast iron fireplace taking centre stage and a bay window framing a lovely leafy street view. Your dining room sits next door, 130 square feet and home to a bespoke hatch and understair nook perfect for use as a home working or storage space. With views out to the garden and a beautiful period fireplace with timber surround, this is a fine spot for hosting.

Continue through and the kitchen's even more covetable. An Aegean blue suite of cabinets with striking brass flourishes contrast gloriously with an on-trend terracotta pink backsplash. Follow the herringbone flooring to the kitchen door for access to your fifteen foot garden - an ivy covered urban solace. The ground floor's completed by the family bathroom, decked out in rustic tiles around the tub. Lastly, head upstairs for two double bedrooms (one with another period fireplace) and a generous single with a garden view.

Outside and Higham Hill is a seven minute stroll away, as is the Blackhorse Beer Mile so you'll never want for new places to catch up with friends. To get your nature hit there's a choice of Higham Hill Park (eight minutes), Lloyd Park (fourteen minutes) and our 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands (a mile on foot or a quick bus ride away) for endless acres of blue space. To really stretch your legs head past Coppermill Tower to join the Lea Valley Walking Trail all the way to Hackney Marshes.

WHAT ELSE?

- For parents, there's a choice of twenty one 'Good' and 'Outstanding' primary and secondary schools, all lying in a one mile radius.
- Priory Court Playground is just around the corner and ideal for keeping little ones entertained.
- Fancy something different for dinner? German Deli, Artisan Foods and International Bakery all offer the freshest store made wares, while Slowburn serves up wholesome, slow-cooked vegan and vegetarian plates. All close by.

a word from the owner...

"Colville Road has been my home for the past 13 years and I have loved every moment of it. We’ve been very lucky to live in such a vibrant, exciting area. Watching the area change over the past decade has been very gratifying, seeing new restaurants, tap-rooms, cocktail bars and gift shops open up regularly. We feel well connected to everything happening in Walthamstow and the community feel here is wonderful. On our doorstep we have the beer-mile, the canals, Lloyd Park, Higham’s Park and a wealth of great coffee shops. We feel spoiled for choice with so many great places to eat, socialise and join in community events. Walthamstow really is such a fantastic place to live and an ideal place to have fun and raise a family. You feel very well connected here, with the Victoria Line taking you on lightening fast tour through some of the most visited areas in London including Kings Cross and Oxford Circus. There’s a wealth of green space here. Lloyd Park is one of my favourite parks I’ve ever been to and we love the weekly market on Saturday with its abundance of great food and drink offerings. We regularly walk to the canals where you feel like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of London life. A waterside walk or bike ride to Clapton or Hackney is a perfect weekend excursion. Our house has really felt like a paradise all this time, we love how quiet it is on this street and how supportive our neighbours have been. The house feels spacious and somewhere you can really add your stamp onto. We really adore the garden and it feels so private. We know that whoever moves into our home will absolutely love living here as much as we have. It’s a fabulous property and we will miss it dearly."
