IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Upon entering your new apartment, the spacious double bedroom is on your left immediately after the large storage cupboards. This bright and airy room, with integrated storage solutions and ample space for bedroom furniture, is perfectly proportioned. Next to this room is the huge open-plan living area. Measuring an impressive 268 square feet, light floods this large space from the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that open out to the private balcony. The smartly appointed kitchen sits in an L-shape, overlooking the room and creating a perfect space for hosting friends. Kitchen cabinets are sleek white, with integrated appliances and stylish metro-style splashback tiling. Amtico flooring sweeps underfoot, and the chic white decor allows the thoughtful design of the space to shine. Your balcony adds another 82 square feet to your floor space and is a glorious outdoor oasis. With a spotlight overhead to illuminate the space once the sun sets, and glass balustrades to enhance the sense of space, you are sure to spend many evenings out here. The contemporary bathroom, finished in five-star style with a shower over the tub and a half-wall fitted mirror, completes this chic apartment.

We are sure that your new local will be Big Penny Social; moments from your this, popular microbrewery and restaurant also runs a huge and varied programme of community-focused live events and is the perfect place to meet pals for a drink. From here, follow the network of reservoirs up the famous Blackhorse Beer Mile where you'll find numerous independent taprooms and fine dining establishments.

a word from the owner...

"We love living in this flat, the distance to the tube is amazing, the nearby breweries ensure there's always something fun to do at the weekend and the courtyard space plus balcony help you relax on sunny days. It is so quiet for London, you feel so removed yet everything is on your door step. Walthamstow wetlands are very close. We honestly wouldn't move if we didn't need more space!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Collendale Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
