"We have loved living in the Eclipse development! The location couldn't be better - you're right next to the tube on the speedy Victoria line, the Walthamstow Wetlands and several parks are a short walk away, and living by brilliant restaurants (including 'Slowburn', based in a functioning jeans factory where the food is amazing!), multiple breweries and bars has been brilliant. We feel we really got lucky with our flat, as it's courtyard facing (so quiet!) and the layout has really worked for us. We've had two children since moving here and it is perfect for anyone wanting to start a family or otherwise. The neighbours are all super friendly and there is a really strong sense of community. We lived in many other places in London before moving here and this is our favourite location by miles! We're only moving because we need more space with our children growing so fast."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
