IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll have more than 1300 square feet of living space to stretch out in, all impeccably finished and beautifully bright. Your ground floor is home to a wealth of sociable space, the open plan reception and conservatory total fifty feet in depth, with clear sightlines from front to back and natural light flowing through it all courtesy of that large bay window and patio doors.

Handsome blonde engineered hardwood floors run underfoot from front to back, between pristine white walls. A whitewashed exposed brick hearth takes centre stage. To the rear your wonderfully bright conservatory is the perfect spot for revelling in your gorgeous landscaped garden all year round. Step out here for a substantial deck sat beneath a covered pergola.

The deck descends to a lush lawn around fifty feet in length, flanked by high timber fencing and ending in a large summer house. Back inside and the ground floor's completed by your generous kitchen, decked out with glossy purple cabinetry, timber worktops and slate grey floor tiles, plus the first of your two bathrooms; a sparkling shower room off the hall.

Upstairs your principal bedroom to the front is a generous 180 square feet, softly carpeted and bathed in light from that bay window. Your other two sleepers are both decent, colourful doubles of around 120 square feet apiece, with leafy garden views. Your family bathroom is finished top to toe in glittering mosaic tiling and designer fittings, and finally your 220 square foot skylit loft room is ideal for turning to all manner of purposes, from playroom to home office

a word from the owner.......

"The house has been in our family for over 40 years, so mixed emotions as we move on to pastures new to fulfil our retirement dream of living by the sea. The house is cosy in the winter and keeps you cool in the summer; you'll also see some amazing sunrise/sunsets from the back bedrooms overlooking the Forest. Clivedon Road is very pretty with its trees and we are blessed to have Highams Park Lake at the bottom of the road; a beautiful nature sanctuary with its resident swan family. We are also just a 10 minute walk to the Station and the village where there is a diverse choice of eating places, takeaways, wine bars, and a great craft beer shop too! "

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Clivedon Road, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
