A spacious three bedroom Victorian terrace abounding in potential on a tree-lined street in leafy Higham Hill. Higham Hill Park itself is just around the corner and the transport links of Blackhorse Road are just a short stroll away.

Fancy getting some nature under your feet? You're blessed with the expansive open blue and green expanse of Walthamstow Wetlands a mere five minute walk away. You'll find the Lockwood Way entrance just behind Hackney Brewery & High Hill Taproom.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll love realising all your interior design ambitions on this ideally-located family home. Your lounge is a sizeable 130 square feet and comes with a classic bay window framing a leafy street view and blessed with a south-facing aspect. There's also a fireplace you may wish to restore to its former glory. Next door and your dining room's another space with solid fundamentals including garden access, a fine option for taking the party outside when hosting.

Head past your well-sized kitchen to head out once more onto your generous garden's lush lawn and raised beds, making it a haven for the green-fingered and a fine future place to dine and recline al fresco. Back inside and the storey's completed by the bathroom, while three double bedrooms await upstairs (one with a glorious Art Deco fireplace). The loft space is so far untouched so you also have scope to expand your new home still further in the form of a Dormer extension (subject to the usual permissions). Lastly, the property comes chain free, so you can move in with minimal hassle.

Outside and Blackhorse Road station's a thirteen minute stroll away and will whisk you straight to Kings Cross in fifteen on the Victoria line. The 158 bus route runs a minute away at the end of the street for the handy transport connections and amenities of St James Street, Leyton and Stratford. Meanwhile, on your doorstep you have not just Higham Hill Park but the amenities of Higham Hill Road. The Tavern on the Hill dates back to the nineteenth century and whether you fancy an art class or fine Japanese cuisine courtesy of Oishi Don, your new local awaits.

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Clarence Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
