An expertly developed, artfully appointed four bedroom Victorian terrace, just ten minutes walk from Walthamstow Central. Laid out over three floors, Design & Decor is an elegant blend of vintage style and clean contemporary lines throughout.

You're especially well situated here. As well as Walthamstow Central you have The Village, Wetlands, High Street. Hoe Street, Walthamstow Mall and more all within easy walking distance.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll have 1200 square feet of impeccably finished living space to explore. The original mouldings above the front door, set into that handsome frontage, set the bar early. Inside, and you have lovingly restored original timber floorboards flowing underfoot in your 270 square foot through lounge, where an ingenious open plan staircase adds to the sense of space. Beneath the stairs there's an exposed brick wall and the ideal study nook or storage area.

To the rear, your 180 square foot kitchen/diner, dual aspect and skylit, is a sleek designer affair decked out in bespoke, sustainable plywood units and worktops, backed with smart letterbox splashbacks. Bright and beautiful, large format tiling lies underfoot and Crittal patio doors lead out to your garden. Out here you have a barely overlooked blend of decking and lawn, flanked by timber fencing and screening greenery.

Upstairs and your first two sleepers set a spacious standard. Your principal bedroom to the front comes in at 150 square feet, with more vintage timber underfoot and classic wooden shutters on the windows. Your first floor is a bright and generous affair, with vintage fixtures and fittings set against royal blue timber panelling. Head up the skylit staircase for your loft conversion, home to two more bedrooms and a skylit en suite shower room.

Outside and, as noted, Walthamstow Central is just a half mile on foot, with direct, twenty minute runs to Liverpool Street and Oxford Circus putting both the City and West End a mere half hour away door to door. Also just a ten minute stroll away, you'll find the peaceful, leafy streets of Walthamstow Village, home to a diverse range of award winning wining and dining establishments. From sumptuous Sunday roasts at The Queens Head to delicious tapas at The Orford Saloon, you're sure to find a favourite just a short walk from your front door.

WHAT ELSE?

- Parents will be delighted to discover eight 'Outstanding' primary/secondary schools all less than a mile away on foot. A further nineteen are just as handy and deemed 'Good'.
- It's eight minutes by bike or twenty five on foot to Walthamstow Wetlands. London's largest nature reserve at 500 acres, it's the perfect place to escape into nature.
- You're spoilt for choice when it comes to a new local, but may we recommend The Castle? It's a charming, family friendly village gastropub, with open fires and a cosy atmosphere.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Chelmsford Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
