3 Bedrooms

Stunning three-bedroom Victorian terrace house in a fabulous Walthamstow location. This property has the added luxury of two family bathrooms and is immaculately decorated throughout.

You’d enjoy a wonderful blend of old world charm and stunning modern aesthetics. This home politely screams style and class from the moment you step through the front door. The grand hallway is lit by striking contemporary fittings and boasts beautiful stripped wooden floorboards that extend throughout the home.

This is a real family house, cleverly designed to offer areas for you all to be together when you want to be and spread out when you need to! The colour plate is unified through out and has a wonderful mid-century modern vibe.

The two main reception rooms are warm and welcoming and wonderfully interior designed. Original features are complemented by contemporary additions and create an awe inspiring harmony between old and new. The storage in the second room is next level with geometric cupboards on one wall and bookshelf complete with an old fashioned library ladder facing opposite.

No attention to detail has been spared in the kitchen with its expansive work surface and breakfast bar, double gas cooker and 1950s style splash backs. Extending off from this space is the room that could easily become the one your family spends the majority of their time in. Whether your crafting and cooking on a Saturday afternoon, sitting down for breakfast before school or enjoying a Sunday roast, this is a unique room. And once the kids are in bed it transforms into the perfect area for the grown ups to kick back in and enjoy putting the world to rights over a leisurely supper. Flooded with light in the daytime, this dining area has the feel of an orangery and has direct access to the sunny easterly facing garden.

This house is spread over three floors with two good-sized bedrooms - the larger of the two with original fireplace - and a family bathroom on the first floor . The third, a huge 5.2m x 3.8m master suite is above. Your bathrooms are both straight from the pages of a dreamy interior design magazine - clean white metro tiling and walls, a pop of colour in the second floor one and stylish monochrome palette in the first. Both are spacious and finished to the highest standard.

a word from the owners......

"We have lived here for ten years and it will be a wrench to move. The house has been a wonderful home for us. During the lockdowns we felt very fortunate to have plenty of space to work in, a very green garden to escape into and a lovely community to lean in to. Walthamstow has brilliant public transport links along with fantastic cycle routes into central London - 40 minutes to cycle into Farringdon on very quiet roads. Or you could catch the train and be on Hampstead Heath in half an hour. There is always something new to discover and a wealth of places to socialise. We will miss our friends and neighbours, the annual art trail and having such wonderful green spaces on our doorstep including Hollow Ponds & Walthamstow Marshes."

Our Local Guide:

Chelmsford Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
