A spectacular one bedroom apartment with basement room, in a sumptuous Victorian conversion moments from Walthamstow Central. Beautifully finished, with generous high ceilinged rooms and a stylish garden office, this is a fine find.

There's over 800 square foot of living space here, not including your basement room, courtyard, separate garden and garden room. You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to spots to work from home, and you're just down the road from the Village for even more remote options.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

First off your curvy hallway you'll find your 270 square foot bay fronted reception, with ornate cornice work to the ceiling and a handsome vintage fireplace. Exposed original floorboards lie underfoot in this impressive space. Your bedroom is next, another remarkably large space of 220 square foot, with French doors onto your secluded courtyard garden. Another door leads you back into your hallway, where you'll find stairs to your basement room on the left, giving you an extra 150 square foot to make use of however you like - perhaps that perfect home cinema?

Your showstopping bathroom has deep green tiling to one wall, a brass gooseneck shower over the stylish modern tub, and maximum natural light. At the end of the hall is your kitchen/diner, with 145 square foot of space to cook and entertain. There's a ceramic butler sink and hardwood worktops, and an exposed chimney breast to house a range oven. Step out from here into your main garden, with neat paving and lawn. Your fabulous garden room gives you an additional 100 square foot of practical and beautiful space, with woodburning stove, bifold doors and roof light.

Walk three minutes and you're at Walthamstow Central, where you can hop on the Victoria Line or Overground for Kings Cross or Liverpool Street, both barely twenty minutes away door to door. Five minutes on foot takes you into the heart of the Village, Walthamstow's wonderful old town filled with great places to eat, shop and wander. A similarly short stroll puts you on the bustling High Street with its famous markets.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Cedars Avenue, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
