"We undertook a back-to-brick refurb on the flat, and so the flat benefits from recent re-wiring and electrics, double-glazed sash windows, sanded floors and insulation under the floors and in the loft, plus a high-spec kitchen and bathroom. We loved living on Carr Road and being part of the community around Lloyd Park. It's a lovely quiet area, especially as the flat overlooks the park itself which gives a special feeling of tranquility and calm. The weekly Lloyd Park food market is brilliant and there are so many great places to eat and drink, all within 10 mins walk from the flat. Thetransport links are also very good with Walthamstow Central a 10 min walk. The proximity to Epping Forest is also great if you like walks and green space. It has been a lovely flat in which to start a family and we look forward to passing it on to some new owners who will enjoy it as much as we have."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space.
