a word from the owner...

"We have loved our time living in this flat and have fallen in love with the area that surrounds us, having moved from a different area of London. We would love to buy our next home in the same area as we look to grow our family. The flat has always felt spacious and bright with its high ceilings and bay windows. We have particularly enjoyed the use of our peaceful private garden where we have been able to host barbeques and other celebrations with our friends and family.Being just a short walk from the Elizabeth line means we’ve had quick access to central London, as well as being close to the Central line, overground and Stratford. Having the local high street and Stratford so close has made running errands and shopping incredibly convenient. With Wanstead Flats being a short walk away we have enjoyed walks around this peaceful area amongst nature and ending up in the cosiest local pub, The Holly Tree, for a Sunday roast and a drink. There are so many other options for eating and drinking including the famous Singburi and local breweries. There is a lovely community feel with a weekly farmers market at Buxton school down the road. We will be sad to move on from our first home together and hope that others will enjoy living here as much as we have."

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
