An absolutely charming one-bedroom apartment set on the ground floor of a Victorian property, with classic features throughout – and a prime location in one of Walthamstow’s most exciting corners, with easy access to top class amenities and ultra convenient transport links. Highlights include the separate kitchen and reception room, lovely private rear garden and ample amount of storage. It’s all been beautifully finished and is ready to be enjoyed.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You’ll feel instantly at home thanks to the considered decor and contemporary fittings - and you’ll be keen to get out exploring your exciting new neighbourhood, too. As well as the immaculate presentation and abundance of natural lighting, the reception room offers in-built storage and bespoke shutters, which will be brilliantly convenient. Meanwhile, both the kitchen and bathroom balance traditional charm with contemporary style (you’ll really appreciate the glossy metro brick tiling across both), while the bedroom is bright and spacious with clever custom carpentry and soft decor.

At the rear you’ve got a private garden, which will be great spot to relax in when the sun is shining - especially when the barbecue is out on the decked patio. The leafy foliage adds a great sense of seclusion, but you don’t have to venture far to enjoy more greenery; the ever-popular Walthamstow Wetlands is a short stroll away. As for urban perks, you’re just a short hop from Blackhorse Beer Mile, featuring some of East London's most exciting craft beer breweries, bars and street food, such as Exale, Signature Brew and Big Penny Social - all have a packed event calendar.

Even closer to home you’ll find True Craft bar and pizzeria, as well as the dynamic box park-style social hub CRATE. Your new local coffee shop? Why not make it Weirdough Bakery, which is just a few minutes away?

Need to escape beyond Walthamstow? It's less than ten minutes on foot to St James Street station, where the Weaver Overground will zip you to Liverpool Street in just 16 mins. Alternatively, take a 13 minute stroll to Walthamstow Central, where you can add the Victoria line to the options (and grab a seat at the first stop on the line). While you’re in that area, take a short stroll further to check out the historical Walthamstow Village, as well as the lively scene around Hoe Street. There’s so much to explore, but luckily you have plenty of time.

WHAT ELSE?

- For shopping, head to Walthamstow Central for Europe’s longest market which runs along Walthamstow High Street, as well 17&Central shopping centre and multiscreen Forest cinema.
-Situated in Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum - a mere 11 minute walk away, is supperclub.tube, an incredible dining experience in a refurbished tube carriage.
- The Soho Theatre Walthamstow has just opened and has a fantastic programme of events offering world-class entertainment. It’s all just 0.8 miles from your home.

a word from the owner...

"We absolutely love living here and will truly miss it. Our favourite thing has got to be the garden, we have so many fond memories out there - hosting BBQs for friends, pottering around on lazy sunny weekends, and eating meals outside all through summer. Despite being north-facing, we get the sun all day in summer because of the raised decking and the position at the end of the terrace. The street is so quiet because it's a one-way loop, which means very little passing traffic, and there are also two bicycle hangers right outside. We adore our neighbourhood and hope we can stay in the area! We love how many cafe options we have nearby, and our neighbours are super friendly, with a WhatsApp group where people are always offering things for free and helping each other out. In the winter months, we find that we still have plenty of space for hosting inside and often have friends over for dinner. Our bedroom is the perfect little oasis, we are always amazed at how peaceful it is, as it's not overlooked and has a lovely view out onto the garden and greenery."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Camden Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
