This charming two-bedroom apartment sits the ground floor of a Victorian property, with classic features throughout – and a prime location in one of Walthamstow’s most eclectic corners, with easy access to great amenities and convenient transport links.

Highlights include the immaculate decor, separate kitchen and reception room and private rear garden, while the chain-free status is the icing on the cake.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You’ll feel instantly at home thanks to the considered decor and contemporary fittings, while the period features such as original flooring and feature fireplace add further warmth. As well as the immaculate presentation and abundance of natural lighting, the reception room offers in-built storage, which will be brilliantly convenient. Meanwhile, both the kitchen and bathroom balance traditional style with modern updates, and the bedrooms are both spacious and bright.

At the rear you’ve got a private garden, which will be great spot to relax in when the sun is shining - especially when the barbecue is out, but you don’t have to venture far to enjoy more greenery; the always lovely Walthamstow Wetlands is a short stroll away. As for urban perks, you’re just a short hop from Blackhorse Beer Mile, featuring some of East London's most exciting craft beer breweries, bars and street food, such as Exale, Signature Brew and Big Penny Social - all have a packed event calendar.

Even closer to home you’ll find True Craft bar and pizzeria, as well as the dynamic box park-style social hub CRATE. Your new local coffee shop? Why not make it Weirdough Bakery, which is just a few minutes away?

Need to escape beyond Walthamstow? It's just nine minutes on foot to St James Street station, where the overground will zip you to Liverpool Street in just 16 mins. Alternatively, take a nine minute stroll to Walthamstow Central, where the Victoria line will get you straight to Kings Cross in around quarter of an hour. While you’re in the Walthamstow Central area, take a short stroll further to check out the historical Walthamstow Village, as well as the lively scene around Hoe Street. There’s so much to explore, but luckily you have plenty of time.

WHAT ELSE?

- For shopping, head to Walthamstow Central for Europe’s longest market which runs along Walthamstow High Street, as well 17&Central shopping centre, which has a fantastic food court and mini golf, as well as the convenient chains.
-Situated in Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum - a mere ten minute walk away, is supperclub.tube, an incredible dining experience in a refurbished tube carriage.
- There’s a buzz in the air about Soho Theatre Walthamstow, a 1000 seat performance space that will be home to world-class entertainment when it opens in 2025 - and it’ll be less than a mile from your front door.

a word from the owner...

"It's a lovely flat and I was happy living there. I'm selling it as I decided to live closer to my elderly mother. Walthamstow has become quite trendy over the last few years with pop up shops, cafes and restaurants and has amazing transport links. In 15-20 minutes, one can be in the city, on Oxford street, on Hampstead Heath or in Epping Forest. Walthamstow Marshes and Wetlands are in walking distance. Camden Road is very quiet but at the same time close to Walthamstow Hight Street with its famous street market and variety of shops and supermarkets. It’s a friendly neighbourhood and there’s both a WhatsApp group and a Facebook group connecting people living in Camden Road, Hove Avenue and Brighton Avenue."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Camden Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
