An artfully developed, impeccably finished two bedroom apartment in Walthamstow's signature Warner style, with handsome brick frontage, dedicated front door and private rear garden. Our famous High Street is just a half mile on foot.

St James Street station is also nice and handy, just an eight minute stroll for direct twenty minute runs to Liverpool Street via the overground.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll ascend the stairs and find your kitchen/diner straight ahead. Totalling an impressive 200 square feet with blonde engineered hardwood underfoot and a striking exposed brick wall in the dining area, this is a covetable space indeed. Your kitchen area's segmented by a handy, timber-topped breakfast bar and decked out with cream cabinetry and sky blue splashback. Next door your lounge makes for another fine hosting space, with a vintage hearth nestled beneath an ornate timber mantel.

Bedroom one's a sizeable single, while your family bathroom sits just off the rear hallway with terracotta tiling underfoot and smoky marbled tiles running from tub to ceiling. Head up your skylit staircase now, for the sizeable principal sleeper, 160 square feet of relaxing dual aspect space, also skylit, and finished in tranquil blue and grey. An en suite shower room completes things, smart and polished with jet black fixtures.

Outside and, as noted, our famous High Street is just a half mile on foot. Here you'll find Europe's longest street market as well as a fine range of cafes and shops. The latest addition is CRATE Walthamstow, a glorious arcade home to the High Street Social bar, street food vendors and, soon, even mini golf! Venture further afield and you can be exploring Walthamstow Village in less than twenty minutes, for still more diverse wining and dining options.

WHAT ELSE?

- Walthamstow Central station is a half mile on foot, for the Victoria line and its speedy, direct runs to Kings Cross and Oxford Circus.
- Your rear garden's accessed via a modest cast iron terrace, descending to a generous deck, secluded by timber fencing and screening greenery.
- You're spoilt for choice when it comes to new favourite places, but we have to recommend The Chequers, a superb year round gastropub with lots of lovely nooks and crannies, cosy fires and a brilliant beer garden.

a word from the owner...

"We have absolutely loved our time tucked away in this cosy corner of Walthamstow. Over the last 7 years we have made some wonderful memories and wish all the more for the next residents. The area itself is outstanding. Despite the street itself being quiet, we are just a short walk from either Walthamstow Central, Queens Road or St James Street stations as well great local cafes and the Crate box park. Walthamstow wetlands is also a lovely place to walk to of an afternoon, or you can catch a quick bus to the nearby Blackhorse Beer Mile. The community within our three streets is very welcoming and friendly. The local Facebook and WhatsApp groups stay active with residents regularly offering to help each other out, and look to organise events such as annual advent window displays or yearly street parties."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Camden Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
