IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be enjoying not one but two immense sociable spaces for you and yours to stretch out in. To the front your 250 square foot lounge is richly appointed with original timber floorboards underfoot, a pair of pristine vintage hearths and mantels set into the stately blue-black walls and plenty of natural light from the dual aspect. Next door your kitchen/diner's every bit as stylish and sizeable, with banks of bespoke cabinets and integrated appliances stretching down the twenty five foot length and ending in a bright dining area.

Upstairs and your principle bedroom sits to the front, 160 square feet with carpet underfoot and pale turquoise walls up to the picture rail. There's another vintage hearth in here, flanked by built in wardrobes. Next door your family bathroom features a delectable freestanding tub and dedicated walk in shower cubicle, while to the rear bedroom two's another double. There's a matching third sleeper in the loft conversion, where you also have a large skylit double with gleaming en suite shower room and plenty of eaves storage.

Outside, and Walthamstow High Street is just three minutes away. As well as being home to Europe's longest street market, you'll also find a fine range of supermarkets and cafes, and The Chequers, one of our favourite gastropubs. St James Station is just five minutes away, for direct twenty minute runs to Liverpool Street as well as our unique social hub of CRATE St James, for a whole host of independent entrepreneurs from craft brewers to burger joints to yoga studios.

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Buxton Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
