4 Bedroom

2 Bath

A beautifully styled family home with four double bedrooms and a walk in wardrobe, a large through lounge, kitchen/diner and three bathrooms, all expertly laid out over three floors. You're enviably located on a quiet residential street right in the heart of the calm, leafy and much sought-after Walthamstow Village.

Whether you're off to the West End or commuting into the City, local public transport has you covered - Walthamstow Central station has direct twenty minute runs to Oxford Circus and Liverpool Street and is just a half mile away on foot.

IF YOU LIVED HERE..

You'll be relaxing in your generous, 220 square foot open-plan lounge, dual aspect and beautifully finished with timber floorboards underfoot, a large, bright bay window and period hearth with mantelpiece. Discrete dividing doors mean you can choose how to use this space. The dual aspect kitchen is a triumph of battleship grey and stainless steel fixtures and fittings, with plenty of space for dining by the second bay window.

Head through the kitchen and your large, south-facing private garden is a mix of lush lawn and paving - perfect for barbecues, relaxing and socialising alike through the balmy summer months, with high fences for privacy. All four bedrooms are doubles with the principle bedroom on the second floor coming in at 170 square feet with twin skylights filling the room with natural light. The bathrooms are smart and stylish throughout; with gleaming glass, pristine walls, marbled grey tiling and rainfall showers.

All this in one of Walthamstow's most enviable neighborhoods – Walthamstow Village is a veritable oasis of peaceful, part-pedestrianised streets, historic architecture and some of the finest bars, restaurants, artisanal shops and independent gastropubs for miles around, from classic cocktails to craft beers; all on your doorstep.

WHAT ELSE?

- There's a good mix of schools nearby, with seven primary/secondaries within walking distance, all rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted and including the 'Outstanding' St Mary's CofE Primary.
- You're spoilt for choice when it comes to a new local but we'd urge you to try The Nags Head - a great, quirky pub with its own candlelit homage to David Bowie, fairylit garden and pub cats that curl up on you on rainy afternoons.
- Be sure to check out God's Own Junkyard just round the corner, it's a riot of neon like nothing you've ever seen. The Wild Card Brewery next to it is also one of The Village's most esoteric and lovable attractions.

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Brunswick Street, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
