A beautifully appointed, elegantly extended and flawlessly finished four bedroom Victorian terrace. Artfully arranged over three floors, you're sat on a peaceful, friendly street just moments away from Walthamstow Village and Wood Street.

Among a whole host of other highlights, you also have the vast natural space of Epping Forest and Hollow Ponds within easy reach. Just ten minutes on foot and you can be exploring the waterways in a hired row boat.

You'll have over 1500 square feet of sleek and stylish living space, bursting with vintage charm and contemporary designer flourishes, to stretch out in. Your dual aspect through lounge is an immediate highlight – twenty four feet in length, decked from front to back with blonde engineered hardwood and featuring a pair of ebony fireplaces. Head out the French doors to the rear for your secluded side return.

Moving further in, your kitchen/diner is every bit as sleek and sizeable, with its own bay window, underlit designer cabinets with matching fittings and integrated appliances, marbled work surfaces and a rear wall of bi-folding patio doors for bringing the outside in. That all-important outside space starts with a large BBQ-perfect patio, before a length of zero maintenance Tru lawn stretches away between raised railway sleeper beds and high timber fencing.

Upstairs, and your designer family bathroom features a strikingly-tiled walk-in rainfall shower, while your 180 square foot principal bedroom has lovingly restored original timber floorboards underfoot, plenty of fitted storage and a pale pastel paintjob. Two more solid double sleepers complete the first floor, while you loft conversion can only be described as a penthouse suite. Lit by huge twin skylights, the bedroom up here stretches out for over 200 square feet, while the skylit en suite features a classic clawfoot tub and dedicated rainfall shower cubicle, all finished with brilliant brass fittings,

Outside and, as noted, all the myriad delights of Walthamstow Village are laid out at your fingertips. God's Own Junk Yard, a renowned neon wonderland like nothing you've ever seen, is just five minutes walk. Here's also where you'll find the Pillars Brewery and wonderfully decadent Mother's Ruin Gin Palace. Explore further for a huge, diverse range of independent wining and dining establishments. From gastropubs to cocktail bars, tapas to pizza, you're sure to find a favourite no matter the taste, mood or occasion.

- Wood Street overground station is less than five minutes walk away and will get you directly to Liverpool Street in twenty. Heading to the West End? Walthamstow Central is just one stop away for a quick swap to the Victoria line.
- Wood Street's thriving indoor market is well worth a visit, especially if you're on the hunt for charming vintage apparel. And while you're there be sure to sample Homies On Donkeys, for the best tacos this side of the Atlantic.
- Parents will be pleased to find no fewer than six 'Outstanding' primary/secondary schools less than a mile away on foot. For early years, the much loved Tom Thumb Nursery is just a ten minute walk.

Our Local Guide:

Brooke Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
