A splendid find, this three bedroom, two bathroom Victorian terrace sits just five minutes from the beautiful greenery of Lloyd Park. Laid out over three storeys with a lovely, lengthy courtyard to the rear, this is a perfectly-placed gem.

You've got so much that makes our borough special right on your doorstep, with both Walthamstow Village and the comprehensive transport links of Walthamstow Central station also within easy reach.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll have all the charm of the original Victorian architecture, thoughtfully developed and still brimming with character throughout. Your through lounge is a superb introduction with elegant hardwood flowing underfoot, a vintage hearth and bespoke smoky grey open shelving between the two chimney breasts. Dual aspect, there's also no shortage of natural light.

Down a couple of steps to the rear and you're in your bright and airy kitchen/diner. A suite of smart white cabinetry runs down one side, below dual aspect windows framing courtyard views to the rear. These are framed in turn by a striking black and white metro tile backsplash running from worktops to ceiling. Step outside for your pristine courtyard, home to railway sleeper beds and a raised decking area at the rear. Perfect for dining al fresco.

Upstairs and your principal sleeper occupies the entire frontage at 160 square feet. Honey-hued hardwood flows underfoot and bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes sit either side of the chimney breast. Bedroom two's another double, while your family bathroom features both a freestanding tub and walk-in shower cubicle. Finally, upstairs again, your loft bedroom is beautifully skylit and comes complete with a seamless and sleek en suite shower room.

Outside and, as noted, the very best of our brilliant borough all lies mere moments away. A ten minute stroll will get you to Walthamstow Central, where Victoria line and overground trains will whisk you to both Liverpool Street and Oxford Circus in twenty minutes, putting both the City and West End just a half an hour away door-to-door. When you want to stay local, the justly renowned Walthamstow Village is fifteen minutes away for a huge choice of independent wining and dining establishments.

WHAT ELSE?

- There's more to Lloyd Park than landscaped greenery. A huge range of sports clubs and classes call the park home, there's an outdoor gym, cafes and courts, and even a thriving Saturday market. It's a great spot to have on your doorstep.
- Parents will be pleased to find that local schools are chiefly excellent. You have no fewer than thirty two primary/secondary schools less than a mile away on foot, all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
- You're spoilt for choice when it comes to a new local, but be sure to take the eight minute stroll to Bell Corner and visit The Bell, a splendid family friendly gastropub with a superb beer garden.

a word from the owner...

"I have loved living at this property. It’s a Victorian terrace located less than a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow’s tube, train and bus facilities as well as the local market and shopping mall. It’s a quiet friendly street just a 5 minute walk from Lloyd’s Park and a 15 minute walk to Walthamstow village. It’s light and spacious on a well kept Road."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Brookdale Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
