A beautiful four-bedroom home situated just minutes from Lloyd Park, which has been lovingly restored to create a striking and sizeable space packed with traditional features that perfectly juxtapose with the modern design. There’s not an inch that hasn’t been considered here.

Walthamstow Central tube station is ten minutes on foot, putting you just half an hour away from central London door to door – although given how many excellent amenities you’ll pass en route, you might want to treat yourself to longer.

Let your mind boggle at how the ingenious design has enabled a Victorian terrace to become such a beacon of light.

The reception room, which features not one but two period fireplaces, balances bottle green walls with natural timber floors, while the bay window and internal glazing work together to create an incredible illusion of space.

This theme runs through the kitchen, where the large skylights allow natural light to stream in and match the impact of the wall-to-wall wrought-iron patio doors.

As for other standout features, take your pick from the pristine double-oven, immaculate kitchen island, exposed brickwork, stunning tiled floor or serene wall palette. The list goes on.

Outside in the west-facing rear garden, you’ll find a perfectly positioned pergola where you can sit back and take in the beautiful mature foliage, as well as a patio area for all al fresco dining needs.

On the first floor, you’ll come across two stunning bedrooms and two bathrooms, ensuring the needs of all residents are met. The natural wood custom-wardrobes in the front bedroom are an incredible design feat, while the blush tiles of the en suite will make even the most rushed mornings showers feel instantly calming. The main bathroom is a traditional masterpiece, from the metro brick tiles to the classic fittings.

Upstairs in the converted loft, you’ll find more thoughtful features, such as the column radiators and serene tones, while the neutral carpeting creates a cosy environment away from main action.

New local? The Bell and Ye Olde Rose and Crown are both loved by the community for good reason, and can be reached within around ten minutes on foot. The 950-seat Soho Theatre Walthamstow - previously the EMD and Granada cinemas, is set to open in 2023. Within less than a ten walk from your own home, you’ll be able to enjoy truly world class entertainment. Local schools are excellent and plentiful, with an abundance of primary/secondaries within a mile, all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

a word from the owner.....

"We have lived in this property for five years and loved every minute of it. We renovated from scratch creating a modern and spacious home whilst also retaining the original Victorian period features of the house. It's a family home that we have welcomed both of our children into. We have also spent considerable time on the garden which we have landscaped, its the perfect sun trap and great for hosting! Our neighbours are really friendly and there is an amazing community spirit on the road we've had community clean ups and street parties! We have made life-long friends here, making it hard to leave. We are close to everything - minutes from a brilliant park, wonderful local amenities, just under 10 minutes walk from the station, and one road away from an outstanding primary school. We are also close proximity to Epping Forest, Walthamstow marshes and the wetlands, where we spend lots of time at weekend! It's an excellent location."

Our Local Guide:

Brookdale Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
