You’re in a glorious spot here, nestled on the Northern corner of local favourite Lloyd Park. IF YOU LIVED HERE...

The beauty of this home is evident before you even step foot inside, with the characterful arched doorway and subtle blush coloured door. Step inside and you have a wealth of stylish and versatile living space to play with. Your stylish kitchen is of particular note, with on-trend flooring, grey metro style splashback tiling and white base units with wooden countertops. You have an abundance of light in here, thanks to the door leading to your own private section of garden. In fact, the whole home is flooded with light and the tasteful decor and wooden flooring enhances this appealingly bright feel. Your front reception room has a trio of sash style windows, adorned with shutters. Your two bedrooms are excellently sized doubles, and both enjoy peaceful garden views. The well appointed bathroom is equally as stylish as the rest of the apartment with black and white flooring, more of those grey tiles as found in the kitchen and a large freestanding tub.

Out into the local area, you will always find something to see and do in Lloyd Park, including a weekly farmers market and William Morris Gallery which hosts a regular creative exhibition programme as well as housing a collection of Morris’s most iconic designs. Grab a tea and cake and enjoy them in the orangery, overlooking the perfectly manicured gardens. There is an excellent playground here, as well as a skate park and plenty of green space for picnics and summer fun.

a word from the owner...

"I have loved my time on Brettenham road - being so close to Lloyd Park means a weekly routine of morning coffee walks, the Saturday food market and picnics in the summer. Having the bus stop at the end of the road is very convenient, or the tube and overground are only short walk through the park. The canal and wetlands are a great place for running and cycling about a mile away or venturing up to Epping forest at the weekend is equally as easy. Number 303 is equal parts spacious and cosy and I have loved having enough space for two people to work from home, but with an easy commute to central london when it is needed. My favourite feature is the roll top bath because who doesn't love that!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Brettenham Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
