a word from the owner....

"As people who value fresh air, green space and the buzz of the city life, Aldersbrook has proved a perfect location, with both Wanstead Flats and our beautiful much loved part of Wanstead on the doorstep. Leytonstone, and Forest Gate are close at hand for shopping and nights out, it's all catered for. Having easy access to both the Central line and the overground means that Central London never feels that far away either. Amidst all of this, the crescent is a friendly and peaceful enclave with a strong sense of community. The flat has always felt homely, secure, and well constructed, giving us great peace of mind and it's position makes for good light and enjoyable views front and back and at all times of the day. In addition having our own garden has been a massive bonus."

Our Local Guide:
Wanstead

Brading Crescent, Wanstead — Stow Brothers

Thanks to its royal connections and grand properties, Wanstead has previously been compared to the likes of Twickenham and Richmond, although East Londoners are quick to point out that it has plenty enough merits of its own.

For a start, despite its villagey feel, it’s proudly nestled within London’s most creative quadrant and only a short hop on the Central line from the bright lights of the City. There’s also an abundance of green space – Wanstead Flats, Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Chalet Wood, with the seasonal display of bluebells in the latter just calling out for an accompanying picnic from one of the well-stocked local delis or cafes. But that’s not to say that Wanstead’s charming pubs and restaurants aren’t delightful to look at themselves – it’ll be deciding which to go for that’s the problem.
